Also served as a Sergeant with 5th Contingent. Enlisted AIF 2 September 1915, 5 months acting Sergeant Major Base Light Horse, Exhibition Camp, commissioned Second Lieutenant 3 March 1916, did not embark and discharged 21 October 1916.
