Private WILLIAM JOSEPH O’BRIEN is the grandson of ANTHONY O’BRIEN and MARY KINNANE of Dunsallagh East, Miltown Malbay, County Clare. Ireland.Their son PATRICK O’BRIEN immigrated to Australia in 1875 there he married ELLEN FITZGERALD and raised a large family in Toowoomba, Queenslland, Australia;their son WILLIAM JOSEPH O’BRIEN Died in France of Wounds (In the field) 28 April 1917.
