Logan Village Museum
William was born 29th November 1874 in Logan Village and died 30th May 1951 in Queensland. At present we have been unable to locate the cemetery in which he is.
His parents were John William Hayes and Mary Ann nee Ambrose.
He married Jessie Maud nee Trevethan.
He enlisted firstly in the Boer War Service No. 88736th Qld Imperial Bushman contingent.
WW1 he was a Captain and later became a Major.
