DEATH OF BOER WAR VETERAN.
ADELAIDE. Wednesday.
The death occurred in a private hospital at Port Plrie last night of John Christopher Fitzgerald, aged 73, who represented Port Pirie in the Legislative Assembly. He was first elected in 1918, and was at one time Mayor of Port Plrie. He served in the Boer War, during which he was promoted to tbe rank of regimental quartermaster and warrant officer.
