Also served in WW1, Private S.N. 2030, 2nd Light Horse Regiment AIF.

When Frederick William Fleet enlisted in 1901 in the 5th QIB and his details were published with the rank and file in The Queenslander, 16 Mar 1901, he noted his N.O.K. as his father James Fleet, Ann St, Fortitude Valley. 

He enlisted again in 1915 for WW1 and on his Attestation Form dated, 16 Sep 1915, noted that; he was born at Crewe, England and was 33 years 10 months of age; he worked as a wharf labourer; he was married with 2 children and his N.O.K. was his wife Mrs. M. Fleet (Maggie A. Fleet), Bulimba; and he had previously served in South Africa.

Frederick William Fleet was born about 1881 at Crewe, Cheshire, England, a son to James Joseph Fleet and Harriet Fleet (nee Mason). He married Margaret Adamson Kidd on 13 Aug 1910 in Queensland and they had 4 children.
