Thomas William FLYNN was born in  Adelaide on 1st January 1864

His father was Charles FLYNN mother unknown - after his parents deaths he was adopted by a Mrs. P.J. CAIN

He served with the South Australian Citizens Bushmen during the Boer War and returned to Australia in 1901 on the ship Morayshire

He married Ellen Beatrice FITZGERALD on 28th May, 1907 at the residence of James ROBERTS in Scale Bay, SA - 3 children, Thomas Neville (b. 1909 deceased same year), Mary Veronica & Zita Catherine

Thomas died following surgery & illness at Streaky Bay Public Hospital on 21st January, 1934 and is buried in the Streaky Bay Cemetery
