Albert Edward Gorst
Albert Edward Gorst was the younger brother of Alfred John (aka John Alfred) Gorst, who was "Number 9" in the Third Queensland Contingent, as published on page 406 of "The Queenslander" on 3 March 1900.
Born in Chester, England, to John and Mary Gorst (nee Green).
After returning from the Anglo-Boer War, he married Annie Riche, in Queensland in 1904 and started a family. They emigrated to New Zealand, where sadly Annie died in 1924.
