Husband of Alma Simmons nee Winther of 202 Moore Street, Fitzroy, Victoria. Joseph and Alma married during 1912c in Victoria. Following the death of Alma and his parents the next of kin was given as Ravenhill P. Simmons of 14 Queen Street, Coburg, Victoria later of Station Street, North Carlton, Victoria
