Also served in WW1, Private S.N. 159, 25th Infantry Battalion AIF.

When Patrick Lee enlisted in 1901 in the 5th QIB and his details were published with the rank and file in The Queenslander, 16 Mar 1901, he noted his N.O.K. as his mother Mrs. Lee, Amby P.O., via Roma. 

Patrick Lee was born on 28 Aug 1876 at Toowoomba, a son to Thomas Lee amd Alice Lee (nee Todd). His mother Alice passed in in 1919 at Amby and is interred at the Roma General Cemetery.

When he enlisted on 2 Mar 1915 for WW1 he noted on his Attestation Paper that; he was born at Toowoomba and was 37 years old; he was a labourer and N.O.K. was his sister Mrs. G. Ward, Mitchell, Qld; and he had previously served in South Africa in the 5th QIB.
