He and his wife Elsie and their baby son Keith returned to Australia on the ship Dunvegan Castle on the July 14th 1919.

After living in Pennington for a few years, they decided to return to England and on February 8th 1924 Frederick and his family arrived in London, after sailing from Brisbane on the ship “Largs Bay”.

Frederick died in Hertfordshire England in June 1969.
