Bunyip (Gawler, S.A.) 16-5-1902
Trooper Frank Lock of Tarcowie, one of the Fifth Contingent, was in Gawler on Wednesday. He says that it would be a great blessing if the war were to conclude. The practice of some of the companies is to take no prisoners, and neither Boer nor Britisher gets much mercy from some of the enemy if he happens to fall into their hands
