Beresford Sackville LOVETT was born in Clifton, Queensland on 6th October, 1880

His parents were Edmund Alex James LOVETT & Mary Blanche JACKSON

He married Mary Ada (Polly) COLE in 1914 & she died on Christmas morning of the same year - his 2nd marriage was to Christine Agnes DAY in Victoria in 1918

He first enlisted as a Gunner in the Permanent Forces in 1898 & served as a Military Staff Clerk & also served in the Boer War in the 6th Queensland Imperial Bushmen, WW1 with Australian Warmy Ordnance Corps and WW2 (see service details for more information)

Beresford died in Melbourne, Victoria on 23rd May, 1951
