28 Feb 1900:	Embarked Australian and Colonial Military Forces - Boer War Contingents, Captain, New South Wales Citizen Bushmen, SS Maplemore, Sydney - disembarking Biera 12 April 1900
7 Jul 1900:	Wounded Australian and Colonial Military Forces - Boer War Contingents, Captain, New South Wales Citizen Bushmen, Rustenburg, GSW arm and chest. Later, evacuated in September 1900 to England with sunstroke.
15 Nov 1900:	Embarked Australian and Colonial Military Forces - Boer War Contingents, Captain, New South Wales Citizen Bushmen, RMS Rome, Gravesend, England for return to Australia, with Mrs Machattie - disembarking Sydney 29 December 1900
