19 Aug 1902: Discharged Australian and Colonial Military Forces - Boer War Contingents, Private, 1344, Australian Medical Team, AWM Boer War Unit Details, Murray p. 526 & 16 notes the CAMAC (Qld) embarked at Durban 10 Jul 1902 returning to Australia aboard Drayton Grange arriving Brisbane 13 Aug 1902, disbanded 19 Aug 1902.

Andrew Reid Miller was born in Brisbane, Queensland on 26 Mar 1879, a son to Andrew Dunlop Miller and Annie Miller (nee Nicholson). He married Janet Sorbie in Brisbane on 8 Apr 1922 and they had 3 children.

He served twice in the South African (Boer) War. First service was as a Private S.N. 97 in the 4th Queensland Imperial Bushmen. Second service was as a Private (Bearer) S.N. 1344 in the Commonwealth Army Medical Corps (Qld Unit) which embarked at Sydney as the 4th Contingent (Commonwealth) of the NSW Army Medical Corps. 

He died from injuries sustained in a collision with a vehicle while riding his bicycle on 9 Jan 1943.
