Frank Buckton Moss served twice in the South African (Boer War), first a Private (S.N. 8) in the 2nd Queensland Mounted Infantry ans secondly as a Corporal promoted to Sergeant (S.N. 807) in the 1st Battalion, Australian Commonwealth Horse. Details contained in Boer War Dossier for S.N. 807 held by National Archives Australia, and in Murray on p. 524.
