Son of John Neville
The death occurred suddenly in Sydney on Thursday, of trainer Arthur Thomas Neville, aged 62. Before the Associated Racing Clubs came under the jurisdiction of the Australian Jockey Club, he was one of the most successful trainers on their courses. Among the horses he prepared were Anchor, Tressie, Ranworth, Marigold and Poor Joan. Mr. J. Neville, of Grafton, is a son of deceased. Some twenty-five years ago Mr. Neville conducted the store at the back of the Inverell Primary School, the business now being conducted by Mr. W. Ireland.
