Aron was the youngest of five children of Isaac Nolan (b1825 in Munster, Ireland) and Sarah Ann Rowbottom (b1853 in Launceston, Tasmania). Isaac and Sarah married at St Paul's parish church in Launceston, Tasmania in 1871. They lived in Campbelltown and Oatlands in Tasmania.
Aron served with the 2nd Tasmanian Imperial Bushmen (Private; Service No:301) in South Africa and returned to Tasmania in July 1902. He was a Farmer in Penguin, Tasmania in 1908 when he married Mona Mabel Barker (b1889 at Port Frederick, Tasmania). Aron and Mona settled at Sisters Creek where they raised their family - Aron was a Farmer. He died in 1965 and Mona in 1971.
