MR. W. E. OGILVIE .
The death occurred at the District Hospital on Saturday morning, after a lengthy illness, of Mr. William Ernest Ogilvie, aged 68, husband of Mrs. Maud Ogilvie, of 168 Kinghorne St. Deceased, who was a veteran of the Boer War and the Second World War, had been a resident of Goulburn all his life. He was born at Hay, and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Ogilvie. He was a keen follower of cricket, and acted as an umpire for many seasons. In addition to his wife, he leaves a family of two sons, William (Mudgee) and Charles (Goulburn). He is survived by two brothers, Harry (Sydney) and Daniel (Queensland), and two sisters. May (Mrs. M. Bartlett, Adelaide), and Agnes (Mrs. F. Ohlback, Sydney). One brother predeceased him. The funeral left Craig's Chapel yesterday afternoon, after service commencing at 3.30 p.m.. for the Methodist portion of the General Cemetery.
Tributes were paid by memhers of the Druids' Lodge and R.S.S.A.I.L.A.
