LATE J. P. O'NEILL
Mr John Peter O'Neill, who was 58 years of age, passed away on August 6 at his residence at Southern Cross after a long illness. The deceased leaves a wife, five daughters and four sons. The funeral took place on August 7, leaving his late residence, proceeding to the Roman Catholic Church, where a service was held, and thence to the cemetery, a large number of residents attending. The service was conducted by Rev. F. Planas. The pall bearers were Mr S. J. Hammer (president R.S.L.), P. T. McMahon, J. Burman, T. Topin, A Walker, C. D. Styles, and the horse leader was E. H.
