The funeral of Mr. John Gough Onus moved from All Saints' Cathedral on Saturday morning after a short service conducted by the Rev. Mr. Lowe, to the Northern Suburbs Crematorium. The service there at the chapel was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Vine. Many floral tributes were received. Before the cortege moved to Sydney, they were placed on Bathurst Carillon, as a tribute to Mr. Onus who was a Boer War veteran. The chief mourners were deceased's widow and family. Messrs. Cam Reed and Son had charge of funeral arrangements.
