Add my storyBiography contributed by Claude McKelvey
Albert Parry was from England. On his enlistment in 1901 in the 5th QIB he noted his N.O.K. as his sister Emily Parry at Gloucester, England. As noted in a newspaper article about his retirement he spent 14 years in the British Navy in England before coming to Queensland where he would enlist for the South African (Boer) War. On his return from the war he worked for the Post Office in Brisbane until he retired.
