15 Mar 1901:	Discharged Australian and Colonial Military Forces - Boer War Contingents, Private, 314, 4th Queensland Imperial Bushmen, National Archives Australia- Boer War Dossier notes invalided returned to Australia aboard Ranee arriving Brisbane 9 Mar 1901, discharged 15 Mar 1901.

Peter William Reardon was born in 1877 at Wakefield, Yorkshire, England, a son to James and Mary Jane Reardon. He married Margaret Matilda Hudson in 1903 at Sydney and they raised 3 children wjile living at Auburn, NSW.
