OLD MAN DIES
Boer War Veteran James St. Clair Riley (66), of Strahan, who was knocked down by a car In Elizabeth St., Hobart, on Monday last, died in the Hobart General Hospital yesterday. Riley was in Hobart on holiday, and stopped off the kerb into tho path of a car driven by Willlam Gerald Fitzpatrick, of Geeveston. Riley was a sergeant-major in the First Tasmanian Bushmen's Contingent in the South African War.
