QUEENSLAND BOER
WAR VETERAN DIES
Mr Charles John Scott, a retired locomotive driver, of the Queensland Railways, who is being buried today at Toowong, was a native of Brisbane. He was 69 years old. The late Mr Scott served in the South African War in a Queensland contingent and was an active member of the South African War Veterans' Association and South Brisbane Court of Hope, Ancient Order of Foresters.
