08/06/1917  gun shot wound, admitted to 8th Red Cross Hospital

16/08/1917  promoted to Lance Corporal - 50th Infantry Battalion

25/04/1918  gun shot wound received in action, France
27/04/1918  invalided to England

21/08/1918  rejoined unit in France
