Biography contributed by Sharyn Roberts

Chaplain the Rev. J.W. Stevens, who went to the front with the 27th Battalion, writing from France, says he has been transferred to another Battalion. He finds the work strenuous after having been twice invalided to England for sickness. He hopes that when the war is over he will be able to forget a lot of the things he has seen on the battlefield.
