"Details of service in war: May 1901 - March 1902 with the 6 SAIB in Free State including defence of Graspan (6 June 1901) and charge at Grootvlei (2 August 1901). The 8 ACH arrived in South Africa after the war had ended and did not see service.
Service and life after the Boer War: Married Catherine Coveney and had children born in Boksburg, Last known place of residence Benoni, Transvall, South Africa. Died in 1912 aged 29, buried in Boksburg." - SOURCE (bwm.org.au)
