Hesperus May TACEY was born in Queensland on 27th May, 1880

His parents were Hesperus Ogle TACEY & Catherine CASEY

He served with the 5th Queensland Imperial Bushmen during the Boer War

He married Elizabeth Henrietta JENKINSON on 11th June, 1904 in Queensland - two daughters, Myrtle May & Thelma Maud.

Hesperus died in Queensland on 24th November, 1946 late of Northgate, Brisbane & was cremated at the Brisbane Crematorium
