BOER WAR VETERAN
PASSES.
The Misses I. and C. Townley have receeived the sad news from Capetown, South Africa, of the passing of their brother, Lt. Norman Vincent, on August 10. The late Lieut. Townley had distinguished service in the Boer War, gaining the D.S.O. He enlisted with the Third Queensland Division. He was the youngest son of the late Capt. W. Townley, of Brisbane, and a member of one of the oldest families in the capital city. Some time ago he paid a visit to his sisters at Southport to whom sympathy is extended in their bereavement.
