Biography contributed by Faithe Jones

Boer War Veteran Passes The R.S.L. flag was flown at half mast yesterday in memory of the late William Trower, of Glencoe West, who died on June 27. Mr. Trower was a Boer War veteran. While their flagpole is out of use, the R.S.L. has been granted the use of the pole situated on the balcony of the town clock tower.
