Mr T.W.K. Waldron who has been by a unanimous vote of the City Council appointed City Solicitor to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Mr. P. S. Dawson. Mr. Waldron is the youngest son of the late Mr. George King Waldron, of Kiama. He was educated nt Sydney Grammar School and the University, taking degrees of Bachelor of Arts, and Bachelor of Laws. He Became associated with his late brother. Mr. G. C. K. Waldron, who was City Solicitor In 1895, and has been a member of the firm of "Dawson, Waldron, and Glover from 1898. Mr. Waldron held a commission as captain in the 6th Imperial Bushmen In the South African campaign, serving there for 10 months, during which time he was four months in command of the personal escort to Lord Methuen in the Transvaal.

MR. T. W. WALDRON
THE death occurred at his home this morning of the City Solicitor, Mr. T. W. K. Waldron, Victoria-street, Roseville, at the age of 63 years. The late Mr, waiaron was born on October 29, 1870, at Kiama, He was the younger son of the late Mr. G. K. Waldron, and was educated at Sydney Grammar School and at the University of Sydney. He gained his B.A. degree in 1893, and that of LL.B. in 1896. He was articled to his brother. Mr. G. C. K. Waldron, and was admitted as solicitor on August 29, 1898.

He married Miss Eleanor Ruth Dibbs, daughter of the late Sir George Dibbs, in 1901. After his marriage he lived for some years at Penrith. He was a captain in the volunteer forces, and went with the Imperial Bushmen to the South African War, being the youngest captain in the contingent. He occupied the position of Coroner at Penrith, and was president of the Nepean Agricultural Society.
Mr. Waldron succeeded to the position of City Solicitor when Mr. Dawson died In February. 1916. The firm afterwards became that of Dawson, Waldron and Glover, and then Mr. J. M. Edwards Joined in 1916, together with Mr. T. W. Nicholls. Mr. M. W. D. Mclntyre joined the firm In 1928.
The late Mr. Waldron, besides having care of a large general and industrial practice, found time to devote his enthusiasm to activities in the University Club, the Australian Jockey Club, and the Australian Golf Club. He is survived by Mrs. Waldron. Mr. F G. . Waldron, of Roseville, is a brother. His sisters are Mrs. Chapman, Mrs. Johnson, and Misses Laura and Aimee Waldron. Following a service at St. Andrew's, Roseville, at 11.30 a.m. tomorrow, the cortege will leave for the Northern Suburbs Crematorium.
