Harry More Wollstein served twice in the South African (Boer) War, first as a Sergeant (rising to rank of Company Sergeant Major) S.N. 19 in the 2nd Queensland Mounted Infantry, and second as a Captain in the 6th Queensland Imperial Bushmen (source AWM Boer War Nominal Roll, Murray P. 459 & 509).
