13 Jan 1900:	Embarked Australian and Colonial Military Forces - Boer War Contingents, Sergeant, 19, 2nd Queensland Mounted Infantry, AWM Boer War Unit Details, Murray p. 457 notes the 2nd Contingent embarked 13 Jan 1900 at Brisbane aboard Maori King arriving Cape Town 24 Feb 1900.
14 Mar 1901:	Discharged Australian and Colonial Military Forces - Boer War Contingents, Company Sergeant Major, 19, 2nd Queensland Mounted Infantry, National Archives Australia- Boer War Dossier notes he was ranked as Coy Sergeant-Major (C.S.M) when invalided due to Dysentery returning to Australia aboard Ranee arriving Brisbane 9 Mar 1901, discharged 14 Mar 1901.
4 Apr 1901:	Embarked Australian and Colonial Military Forces - Boer War Contingents, Captain, 6th Queensland Imperial Bushmen, AWM Boer War Nominal Roll, Murray p. 459; and Boer War Unit Details, Murray p. 506 notes 6th Contingent embarked 4 Apr 1901 at Pinkenba aboard aboard Victoria arriving Cape Town 2 May 1901.

Harry More Wollstein served twice in the South African (Boer) War, first as a Sergeant (rising to rank of Company Sergeant Major) S.N. 19 in the 2nd Queensland Mounted Infantry, and second as a Captain in the 6th Queensland Imperial Bushmen (source AWM Boer War Nominal Roll, Murray P. 459 & 509).
