AWM Summary

Private Harold Keith Page (3486, 48th Battalion) was born in Adelaide, SA. He was working as a driver when he enlisted in September 1916. Harold was hit in the thigh by a shell during the attack at Passchendaele on 12 October 1917 and died a few minutes later. He is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Ypres, Belgium. Harold’s brother wrote that Harold was 17 years of age at the time of his death.

Harold Keith Page enlisted with the AIF on September 4 1916 and embarked for Europe in February 1917, a few months before his 19th birthday. He was killed in action eight months later, on 20 October 1917 in Belgium.
