Sarah Margaret Furnifull was a Staff Nurse in the the Australian Unit of QAIMNS Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service. She was born 10 July 1887 Albany Western Australia and died 7 July 1984 in Sydney, as Sarah Margaret White, her married name was White. (Sarah Margaret Furnifull married Bruce White 1 March 1927 in NSW.)
Staff Nurse Sarah Margaret Furnifull embarked 16 Dec 1915 Sydney and spent time in active service in Egypt, Belgium and France. Award -Mention in despatches by Sir Douglas Haig. London Gazette 25 May 1918 p 6174 and Commonwealth of Australia Gazette 24 October 1918 page 2055.
