Carl's mother was Mrs Maven Jensen, Tvenstrup, Odder, Denmark and he was engaged to Ethel May Hunt, Hillford Farm, Mount Barker, S.A.  Carl was born in Denmark and came to Australia when aged 22 and he was naturalised.
