He was born April 5th 1875-his father was a Joiner [Journeyman Carpenter]; his mother’s maiden surname was Glass. They were married July 4th 1873 at Orwell, Milnathort.
He was 43 and the son of James and Magdalene Millar; husband of Margaret Millar, of 5, Magill Rd., St. Peters, Adelaide, South Australia. He is remembered on the Milnathort War Memorial in Perth and Kinross.
