Archie was born in Glanville, South Australia on 18th February, 1896
His parents were William Henry RACKETT & Eva Mary JACOB
He married Aida Bertha McNAMARA in Perth, Western Australia in 1922 - 4 known children, Sadie, David, Pauline & Phillip
He served in both WW1 in the Army and WW2 in the RAAF - during WW1 on 1st June 1918 he was taken prisoner of war by the Germans
