Biography

Johnson-On the 19th December(1938), at the residence of his daughter (Mrs. K. Horne), 4 Harwood St. Elwood, Albert Henry, dearly loved husband of the late Margaret Johnson, loving father of Kathleen (Mrs. K. Horne), Eileen, Edward, Vera, Leslie, Roy, Eric and Harold (Dan?) Johnson.
(Privately interred on the 20th Dec., at Brighton Cemetery.)

Johnson.- On the 26th June(1918), Margaret, beloved wife of Albert H. Johnson, 350 New Street, Elsternwick, and loving mother of Kitty, Eileen, Eddy, Vera, Leslie,Roy, Eric,Harold, and loved sister of Kate and Pat. O'Keefe, aged 40 years.

I can help with Kathleen "Kathleen Johnson was born in 1900 at Elsternwick, Victoria. On 1 June 1929 she married Charles William Horne at 157 Collins Street, Melbourne (Registrar Office, Percy Clarke, Registrar) (Vic. BDM, 1929-5198, copy in family collection). Charles William Horne was born 23 Aug 1899 at Essendon, Victoria, the son of Grace [Pedler] and George Horne [railway employee]. When they married Charles William Horne was living at 17 Milton Street, Ascot Vale, Victoria and working as a clerk. Kathleen Johnson was living at 18 Fitzroy Street, St. Kilda, Victoria (home duties). The witnesses were G Horne and K O'Keeffe."
