10 Feb 1916: Transferred Staff Nurse, Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service Reserve (QAIMNSR),
  • 10th February 1916 - attached for duty to No. 4 General Hospital, Camiers France
  • 4th April 1916 - attached for duty to No 16 General Hospital, Le Treport France
  • 18th September 1916 - attached for duty to 34th Casualty Clearing Station
  • 25th November 1916 - attached for duty to 18th General Hospital, Camiers France
  • 14th June 1917 - attached for duty to No. 4 General Hospital, Camiers France
  • 19th November 1917 - returned to England to resign her position due to her mother's illness

    Daughter of James Hughes and Margaret Strang (nee KITCHEN) ROUNTREE of 'Enniskene' Mill Road, Hamilton, Victoria.  James ROUNTREE ran a Chemist shop in Hamilton.

    A report written about her service stated - 'A very good surgical nurse.  Is kind to her patients - very energetic, is capable henceforth did a Sisters duty in acute surgical unit'
