Frank Kennedy MBE served in the 5th Battalion he fought at Gallipoli. He lead the band in the ANZAC Day March in London 1917 as bandmaster No.4 command Dopot Band AIF. National President of RSL Sir George Holland appointed Mr Kennedy to be Our Man in London so he travelled down each Wednesday to recieve Australian Visitors at Australia House for 17 years. State President of Victoria Colin Koen-Cohen was on his way to deliver a engraved silver salver to him for his service, but had to deliver to his wife. He gave up his job as his eyesight was failing. he was 86 years old when he died.
