Peter Manucci was born in Rastatt, Germany on the 16th March 1947. Rastatt at that time was under French Occupation and Command. My parents lived in displaced person huts erected by the French. At the end of the was my parents were able to get passage to Australia as displaced persons
We left Naples in Dec 1949 on the Anna Saleen but had to pull into Aden due to a faulty engine. The Skauham was returning to Europe from Australia and was diverted to Aden to pick up the passengers and take them to Fremantle. We were initially supposed to disembark in Melbourne but our distination was changed to Fremantle where we arrived on 5 January 1950.
Had my 3rd birthday at Mary's Mount Boys College, Davies Cres, Gooseberry Hill WA. I boarded there from Feb 1950 to 1959.

I joined Woolworths in January 1985 retiring in Mar 2013 when I turned 65.
Whilst at Woolworths I managed the Supermarkets at Kelmscott; Belmont and Floreat. I then moved in to The Training Managers Role, The Training and Development Managers Role and a Human Resources Specialist.
