Bruce Clarence George Vidler was born on September 26, 1924, his father, Clarence, was 20 and his mother, Glenn, was 20.

He enlisted into the RAAF as soon as he could and served in Bougainville in the Pacific during WW2.

He married Valma RENARD on November 23, 1957, in Parramatta, New South Wales. They had two children during their marriage. He died on February 26, 2008, at the age of 83.
