Sister May Morris was posted to 17th Australian Auxiliary at Torrens Park, a day later she was appointed Matron AANS on 14th January 1916.

She was transferred to 15th General Hospital North Adelaide but in May 1918 she swapped to 17th AAH Torrens Park were she remained until her discharged in August 1919.
