Casualty of WWII,Andrew served with the 55/53 Bn.,Australian Infantry. He was 21 when killed in a road accident in Australia.
He was a Universal Trainee attached to Walgrove Military Camp.
He was the son of Andrew and Esther Elizabeth Agnes White.
He is a recent addition to the Roll of War Dead and he was accepted for commemoration as war dead on October 8th 2014 and his name was immediately added to the Australian Book of Remembrance.
The Australian Book of Remembrance, located in the Australian Capital Territory, commemorates Australian casualties of the two World Wars who were not formerly recorded by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
