Tiger Moth DE264 of 19 Group Communication Flight RAF crashed near the town of Postbridge in Devon, England

Flight Sergeant Julian Peter Worthington 300142 RAAF was killed and Sergeant Harry Norton Trowbridge 21587 RAAF survived the crash - both men were from 10 Squadron RAAF

Sergeant Trowbridge was sent to Number 2 Airmen's Convalescent Depot (2ACD) at Hoylake near West Kirby in Cheshire, England to recover from treatment for his serious leg wounds

Harry died on 13th January, 1995 and was cremated in Woden Cemetery in the ACT
