He was 36 and the son of Arthur and Elizabeth Cato of Niagara Park, New South Wales.
Native of Oxfordshire, England-possibly Thame but birth record not found.
Date of enlistment from Nominal Roll-22 August 1914.
Age at death said to be 36.
