Biography contributed by Matt Osborne

Norman, or Norm as he preferred to be called, was fighting in Singapore and captured alongside his brother, Thomas. They were both prisoners of war in the Changi Prison War Camp, held captive by the Japanese. Norm made it back home but sadly, Thomas died in the camp. Norm's siblings were Anne, Thomas, Sam and Nevil. The three brothers, Norm, Sam and Nevil all lived in Woolgoolga Caravan Park for many years where I remember visiting them during the Christmas school holidays with my family. My father Geroge, was step-son to Sam Lee.
