Births Dec 1887 Tomlinson John Douglas Edmonton 3a 350.
He was 30 and the son of John Joseph and Sarah Tomlinson, of Laurel Cottage, Ropley, Hampshire.
He is remembered on the Four Marks war memorials which are to be found inside the Church of the Good Shepherd, Lymington Bottom, Four Marks, Hampshire; the World War 1 memorial was held in the village hall until November 1992 when it was moved to ensure care could be taken of it at which time it was restored. The World War 1 memorial contains 13 names and takes the form of a nowy-headed board with raised centre section with carved inscription on it; there is a moulded cornice with carved foliate wreath style in the centre.
He is also remembered on the Ropley War memorial which are in the form of two stone tablets within the parish church of St Peter's.
