Victor Eyre Roach was born August 13th 1890 in Medindie SA to parents Bertie Smith Roach and Edith Guard Roach. Victor was born along with three other siblings. Victor enlisted into the war on the 30 Aug 1915 at 25 years of age. At the time Victor was unmarried and had an occupation as a clerk.

Victor was 5,6 and only 124 lbs when he enlisted. Everything checked out and he was succesfully allowed to embark into war. 

Victor returned from the war at 29 years of age on the 13 Oct 1919 after over four years of service in WWI as a Lance Sargent.

Victor married Gertrude May ROACH (born TUCKER) in 1924, at age 34. The two ended up having one child.

Victor E Roach passed away on December 26 1957 aged 67 from natural causes. He was buried in Centennial Park Cemetery, Pasadena, South Australia, Australia, There he lays in East Area, Rose Bed N5, Position 5.
