Vivian George MORIESON (’37) was born at Union Street, Malvern on 7 June 1919, the son of a chemist. He attended Scotch from 1932 to 1936. Vivian served in the AIF from 1942 to 1946, becoming a staff sergeant, and after the war he was a chemist. Also at Scotch were his brothers John Parker Morieson (born 20 November 1915, SC 1931-33, died 10 February 2003) and Kenneth Charles Morieson (born 10 May 1921, SC 1932-36, died 16 June 2002) and sons David (SC 1962-65), Ian (SC 1962-66) and Alan Bruce Morieson (born 1 February 1950, SC 1963-66, died 11 February 1989). Vivian died in Queensland on Christmas Eve, 2010.
